und brscan-skey https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/brscan-skey aus dem AUR installieren.
Laut der Brotherseite muß wohl noch eine brother-udev-rule-type1 mit installiert werden.
Das wird im AUR nicht angeboten.
Wenn man den Inhalt ansieht was für udev-rules da drin sind eine Datei Namens:

So würde ich erst mal prüfen ob schon durch brscan und brscan-skey eine udev-rule installiert wurde.
Am Sonsten könnte man diese in /etc/udev/rules.d/ anlegen.
Ich selber kann das Alles nicht prüfen, da ich solch einen Drucker nicht habe.
