Ja iss eigentlich ganz Easy:

das in die xorg.conf .. das Device anpassen (mit cat /dev/input/eventX, dann Maus bewegen, dann siehst du welches Event es ist)
dann noch im Userhome die .imwheel.rc mit folgendem Inhalt anlegen:
"mozilla*"
None, Up, Alt_L|Left
None, Down, Alt_L|Right
"XTerm"
None, Up, Alt_L|Control_L|S
None, Down, Alt_L|Control_L|T
"konsole*"
None, Up, Control_L|P
None, Down, Control_L|N
".*"
und dann noch mit
pacman -S imwheel installieren.
dann noch ein Autostartscript (zb bei KDE-Nutzern .kde/Autostart) anlegen mit folgendem Inhalt:
#!/bin/bash
imwheel -f -k -p -b "89"
Ausführbar machen mit
chmod a+x
dann zb. halt KDE neustarten.
Dann sollten die Zusatztasten laufen (tun sie zumindest bei mir)
