Hallo liebes Archlinux-Forum,
nachdem ich archlinux auf dem T42 installiert habe funktioniert soweit auch alles schoen und gut. Dynamic Freqency Scaling, Suspend to Ram/Disk, etc.
Was jedoch nicht funktioniert sind einzelne Hotkeys, einige funktionieren zwar aber nicht alle, wie z.b. der "Access IBM" Button.
Ich habe den acpid-daemon laufen, sowie das modul thinkpad_acpi geladen.
Beim Druecken der "Access IBM"-Taste wird diese auch in /var/log/acpid registriert, jedoch wird keine Aktion ausgeloest.
Starte ich den acpid-daemon nun neu
-> /etc/rc.d/acpid restart
So funktioniert die "Access-IBM" taste danach tadellos. Allerdings nur bis zum naechsten Neustart.
An dieser Stelle hat auch kein Eintrag in /etc/rc.local geholfen um die Bitmaske zu setzen, oder den Daemon schon dort neuzustarten.

Die 82:82 kommt vom Hal-Daemon, dieser startet automatisch "zuvor" den acpid daemon. Nach einem Restart des acpid-daemons verschwindet der "notifiy client 5874[82:82]-Eintrag. Und alle Hotkeys funktionieren !!!
Ich hoffe irgendjemand hat noch ne Idee, da ich mit meinem Latein ziemlich am Ende bin.
