Conky Autostart geht nicht

Hallo zusammen,

Conky startet nicht automatisch ich verwende den Gnome Desktop, über die Konsole geht es.

Linux c110p 5.5.8-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri, 06 Mar 2020 00:57:33 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux
gnome-desktop 1:3.36.0-1

$ conky
conky: desktop window (800011) is subwindow of root window (39c)
conky: window type - normal

conky: drawing to double buffer

Autostart habe ich hier angelegt.
/etc/xdg/autostart/conky.desktop

conky.desktop

Desktop Entry]
Name=conky
Type=Application
Exec=conky

Wer kann mir bitte helfen?

Richtiger autostart Ordner.

Fehlt da nicht eine "[" beim Desktop Entry?

Die eckige Klammer [ ist vorhanden, beim kopieren war nicht alles markiert.

Im Bootlog ist conky vorhanden, aber keine Ausgabe auf dem Desktop.

Hallo,
ich würde das mit dem "Desktop Entry" gar nicht machen. Ich habe mir ein kleines Skript erstellt
mi dem ich Conky an und abschalten kann, ich brauche Conky nicht ständig. Sieht so aus.

pidof conky
if [ $? -eq 0 ]
then
  exec kill $(pidof conky)
else
  exec conky 
fi

Kann man dann z. B. in die Autostart legen.

Ich habe damals einfach Openbox Conky starten lassen. Einfach nur conky & in desen Autostartdatei, und gut.

Entscheidend ist hier vermutlich die Pause Option. Da Conky schneller startet als die Grafische Oberfläche, und dadurch nicht funktionieren kann.

Mit den Conky-Manager kannst du auch das Startverhalten (Autostart usw.) und Conky verwalten
