Hallo zusammen,

Was mich zusätzlich ein wenig wundert.

https://www.pcwelt.de/news/AMD-Ryzen-Alle-Prozessoren-samt-Testberichte-und-Ausblick-auf-2018-10337800.html#RyzenAPUVega

https://www.gamestar.de/artikel/linux-bootet-nicht-neue-ryzen-prozessoren-alte-amd-cpus-betroffen,3346349.html

# cat /sys/class/drm_dp_aux_dev/drm_dp_aux0/device/mem_info_vram_total
Kabbone du bist der beste 🙂
cat /sys/class/drm_dp_aux_dev/drm_dp_aux0/device/mem_info_vram_total
2147483648
Ergibt umgerechnet 2GB.
Hmmm.

https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/amdgpu_vram_mgr.c

https://dri.freedesktop.org/docs/drm/gpu/amdgpu.html
The amdgpu driver supports the following module parameters:

vramlimit (int)

Restrict the total amount of VRAM in MiB for testing. The default is 0 (Use full VRAM).

vis_vramlimit (int)

Restrict the amount of CPU visible VRAM in MiB for testing. The default is 0 (Use full CPU visible VRAM).
Tja.
