Hallo zusammen,
ich möchte an meinem Rechner zwei Monitore mit jeweils einer Grafikkarte betreiben.
Das Ziel soll sein, daß ich auf dem Hauptmonitor ganz normal arbeiten kann, und auf dem Nebenmonitor z.B. Fernsehen über vlc gestreamt wird.
Meine zusätzlich verbaute ATI-Karte mit radeon Treiber hängt über HDMI an meinem Hauptmonitor.
Die Onboard-Grafikkarte Intel möchte ich gerne per VGA-Kabel mit meinem zweiten Monitor betreiben.
Für diese Karte habe ich xf86-video-intel als Treiber installiert.
Mate ist die Desktopumgebung, und der erste Monitor läuft einwandfrei ohne das ich manuell eingreifen mußte.

Nach einiger Recherche im Internet habe ich xrandr installiert.

Die automatische Konfiguration
$ xrandr --auto
brachte keinen Erfolg.
Also habe ich überlegt, dass ich evtl. in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d manuell eingreifen muß.
So richtig weiß ich nicht wie ich es anstellen soll.
Ich habe in diesem Verzeichnis zwei conf-dateien angelegt.

Es bringt allerdings keine Änderung.
Bei Monitore laufen beim booten hoch.
Zu dem Zeitpunkt wo arch vermutlich in den Grafikmodus schaltet, bleibt die Anzeige vom Nebenmonitor stehen und der Hauptmonitor läuft ganz normal weiter.
Was ist verkehrt eingerichtet? Was fehlt noch? Was kann ich tun?
