update von gutenprint

Bin noch ein Neuling. Deshalb bitte ich evtl. für Nachsehen in folgender Frage:

Hatte auf auf meinen alarmpi cups+gutenprint 5.2.9 installiert und der mit usb-angschlossene Drucker funktionierte einwandfrei. Nach dem letzten update gutenprint von 5.2.9 auf 5.2.10 erfolgt kein Ausdruck. Kann das Update eine Fehlerursache sein?

pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/cups[alteVersion]  /var/cache/pacman/pkg/gutenprint[alteVersion]

Ist ein Schuss ins blaue, aber liegt wohl eher an dem nicht ausgeführten

cups-genppdupdate

einmal als root ausführen und es sollte wieder laufen

Habe immer noch Probleme mit dem Epson Drucker. Der Drucker wird auf webseite cups 1.7.3. angezeigt, aber er startet nicht.

Bin Amateur und Kann die Fehlermeldung nicht interpretieren. Kann mir jemand von Euch die Ausgabe hinsichtlich möglicher Fehlerhinweise erklären? Vielen Dank.

Mein Drucker hat seit Einrichten super funktioniert.
Heute bleibt er stumm, Cups gibt aus:
angehalten

"The PPD version (5.3.4) is not compatible with Gutenprint 5.3.5. Please run `/usr/bin/cups-genppdupdate' as administrator."

sudo /usr/bin/cups-genppdupdate
[sudo] Passwort für : 
/etc/cups/ppd/Kyocera_FS-2000D.ppd: no valid candidate for replacement.  Skipping

Nach dem Entfernen und neu Hinzufügen des Druckers in Cups läuft er wieder.
