vor ein paar Tagen habe ich MySQL installiert. Es lief wunderbar, bis ich ihm geistesabwesend ein "@" in /etc/rc.conf gegeben habe. Seitdem kam bei
# /etc/rc.d/hmysqld restart
durchgehend ein "[FAIL]". Der Lösungsansatz der
Wiki funktionierte auch nicht ...
Nun habe ich MySQL kurzehand runtergeschmissen. Beim erneuten installieren erscheinen folgende Fehler:

usr/bin/mysql_install_db: Zeile 326: hostname: Kommando nicht gefunden.

This probably means that your libc libraries are not 100 % compatible
with this binary MySQL version. The MySQL daemon, mysqld, should work
normally with the exception that host name resolving will not work.
This means that you should use IP addresses instead of hostnames
when specifying MySQL privileges !
