PulseAudio will nicht mehr meine Soundkarte erkennen

Von heut auf morgen geht plötzlich mein Sound nicht mehr, weil PulseAudio meine Soundkarte nicht mehr erkennt. Wenn ich pavucontrol aufrufe gibt's bei den Ausgabestreams nur "Null Output". Ich habe eine ESI Juli@ Soundkarte welche das snd-ice1724 Modul nutzt.

was sagt

lsmod |grep pci1723 ?

Wenn das Modul geladen ist, einfach mal entladen und neu laden.
Du kannst das Modul auch in die rc.conf mit eintragen.

modprobe -l |grep ice17

dann sollte das richtige Modul dabei sein.

Ok, habs gefunden. Kann es aber nicht removen:

sudo modprobe -r snd_ice1724

lsmod | grep ice17

die Abhängigkeiten des Moduls bitte mal prüfen.
Welche das sind sagt Dir

modinfo snd-ice1724

Schau nach ob die genannten Module auch geladen sind.

Das Entladen kannst Du auch erzwingen.

Teste alles in der Konsole nicht unter X und als root.

Was sagt mir das jetzt genau? Die Abhängigkeiten sehe ich und sie sind auch alle geladen, aber was kann ich daraus nun schließen, bzw. was könnte nun ausprobieren?

Ich hab was neues entdeckt, anscheinend ist es ein Policy- bzw. Rechte-Problem. Aus meiner messages.log:

Hast Du in letzter Zeit ein Update von Teilen des Systems gemacht bzw. was neues installiert? Es sieht mir ganz danach aus, das dabei ein Upgrade von einigen Paketen und dadurch ein gewisser "Schiefstand" entstanden ist.

Was sagt mir das jetzt genau? Die Abhängigkeiten sehe ich und sie sind auch alle geladen, aber was kann ich daraus nun schließen, bzw. was könnte nun ausprobieren?

Manchmal kommt es vor das Module zwar geladen werden aber nicht alle dazugehörigen bzw. erforderlichen Module geladen sind. Du solltest erstmal die Konfiguration von Pulse überprüfen und im Pacmanlog schauen ob dort Pakete geupgraded wurden.

zum Suchen in less einfach

/upgrade

eingeben mit "n" gehts weiter zum nächsten Vorkommen "?" (Rückwärtssuche)und dann "n" wie beim vi halt.

Sollten upgraded Pakete im Log sein, aus den zurückliegenden Tagen vor dem Problem, bringe Dein system auf den aktuellsten Stand. Überprüfe dann die Pulse
Einstellungen bzw. teste ob das Problem noch besteht.

Geht der Sound denn unter Alsa ? Damit wir wenigstens wissen ob die Karte keinen Defekt hat.

Das letzte Pulseaudio Upgrade liegt schon Monate zurück. Es gab irgendein Systemupdate glaub ich, aber so genau kann ich das nicht zurückverfolgen. Das kam eigentlich eher aus heiterem Himmel. Beim ersten Vorkommen konnte ich Pulseaudio einfach neustarten. Beim nächsten Systemreboot ging gar nix mehr.

Mich hat die Alsa-Frage auch schon interessiert, also hab ich Pulseaudio erstmal komplett vom System geschmissen und Alsa konfiguriert. Siehe da, auch da bekomme ich ähnliche Fehlermeldungen, dass die Karte in Benutzung sei.

Die Karte hat keinen Defekt, unter Windows läuft alles problemlos.

Hallo,

ich kann ja nicht sagen was Du gemacht hast, nur scheinbar recht gut das System
verbogen.

Was gibt

ls -latr /dev/snd/
cat /var/log/pacman.log|grep upgr

Mach bitte ein komplettes Systemupdate sichere vorher die von Dir bearbeiteten
Dateien (welche mit dem Sound zu tun haben) bzw. benenne sie um damit neue Standardfiles angelegt werden.

Schau zu das der Sound erstmal geht (WIKI lesen), Berechtigungen und Gruppen prüfen etc..

Querbeet suchen bringt uns nicht weiter, da suchen wir ewig.

Hi!
Hatte heute auch ein ähnliches Problem nach einem Update. (Ich verwende zwar kein Pulseaudio aber das Problem könnte dasselbe sein)

Und zwar wurde "hal" auf Version 0.5.13-3 geupdatet und danach hatte ich keinen Sound mehr. Der Soundchip wurde zwar noch erkannt, aber sämliche Programme wie Video - oder Musikplayer hatten keinen Zugriff mehr.

Hab hal auf Version 0.5.12 downgegradet und gestartet und dann gings wieder.

Nach dem Wiki vorgegangen um den Sound erneut zum Laufen zu bekommen bin ich schon. Habe auch schon per pacman -Rn alle configs gelöscht und neu angefangen. Hat leider nichts gebracht.

Jetzt wollte ich mir den Downgrade Hinweis zu Herzen nehmen, aber hab leider keine Möglichkeit gefunden an hal in der Version 0.5.12 zu kommen. Im Cache Ordner von pacman hab ich neulich aufgeräumt weswegen es dort nicht drin ist.

Dann hab ichs per Arch Rollback Machine probiert (siehe http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Downgrade_packages), aber leider funktionieren Daten früher dem ersten November nicht.

Ich habe aber einfach von der aktuellen Version im "abs" die PKGBUILD abgeändert und dann das Paket per makepkg erstellt. Musste aber den "revert-ssb.patch" entfernen, da sich das Paket sonst nicht kompilieren lies.

Diesmal nur knappe Antworten:

Ja ich bin der audio-Gruppe. Das mit dem Systemupgrade weiss ich jetzt leider nicht so genau. Momentan hab ich nur Alsa drauf, mit alsa-tools und ohne alsa-oss. Habe Gnome als Oberfläche.

Habe dieses Wochenende erstmal keine Zeit weiterzumachen, ich meld mich in 2 Tagen nochmal.

Ich bin den Wiki ALSA Artikel nochmal komplett durchgegangen. Ich hab versucht hal neu zu installieren, aber es hat nicht funktioniert. Ich gebe auf, nun installiere ich Arch nach Ewigkeiten komplett neu. Hoffentlich geht's dann wieder. Drückt mir die Daumen! Und dass ich keine Backups vergessen habe...

Hab neu installiert. Alsa geht wieder. Ich kann sogar gleichzeitig Youtube-Videos gucken und über mpd Musik hören. Wundert mich etwas, da ich dachte dass das mit plain alsa nicht funktioniert. Deswegen hatte ich damals auch Pulseaudio installiert. Weiss da jemand mehr? Wie ist das möglich?
