Hallo,
ich habe mir compiz-fusion installiert, und es klappt auch soweit alle.
Effekte, Fensterrahmen, alles da...
Jetzt möchte ich gerne, dass compiz ohne fusion-icon automatisch startet. Dazu heißt es im Wiki;

die Datei "/usr/share/applications/compiz.desktop" habe ich mit nano geöffnet, und sie hat genau den Inhalt wie im Wiki beschrieben.
Trotzdem startet mein Gnome ohne compiz.
Punkt 2), also die GConf Parameter funktionieren bei mir nicht.
Wenn ich also
gconftool-2 --set -t string /desktop/gnome/session/required_components/windowmanager compiz
eingebe, erhalte ich;
[root@myhost andreas]# gconftool-2 --set -t string /desktop/gnome/session/required_components/windowmanager compiz

Compiz mit fusion-icon starten ist kein Problem. Flüssiger wäre es aber doch wohl ohne, oder?
Jemand einen Rat?
