Ich versuche gerade verzweifelt meinen Edirol FA-101 10-Spur-Recorder irgendwie unter Arch zum laufen zu bewegen. Ich habe diese Anleitung soweit befolgt:

Um das Gerät dreht es sich:

Danach kennt Jack zwar freebob als Treiber aber hängt dann trotzdem.
"jackd -d freebob" als user:

Speicherzugriffsfehler
Ich fange mit der Meldung nicht viel an, die SamleRate kann man an der FA-101 am Gerät von Hand einstellen. Und es ist egal welche eingestellt ist, Fehler bleibt gleich.

/dev/shm/jack-0 already exists, but is not a directory!

/dev/shm gibt es und es gibt dort keinen Ordner "jack-0", nur ein File "jack-shm-registry". Ich habe auch folgenden Eintrag in der fstab:
none /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
...?
Führe ich als root "jackd -d alsa" aus bekomme ich die gleiche Fehlermeldung wie oben.

Hier klingt zumindest der Fehler plausibel 😉
Ich habe nicht die leiseste Ahnung wie es nun weitergehen soll, hoffe jemand hat eine gute Idee. Das System ist ein Samsung Q45 Laptop unter 64bit und frisch gesynct. Mein User ist auch in der Gruppe "audio", sollte also auf /dev/*1394 zugreiffen können.
